Jennie's height is 4 ft. 7in. Her younger sister's height is 25 inches. Find the ratio of Jennie's height to her sister's.
FIRST I CHANGED 4FT,7IN ALL TO INCHES. AND I GOT 55INCHES. AFTER I GOT 55:25. BUT I REALIZED I COULD SIMPLIFY. SO I SIMPLIFIED BY 5. AND GOT 11:5 AS MY ANSWER.

ReplyDelete1ft=12inches
4ft=48inches
48inches+7inches=55inches
ratio=55:25
simplify by 5=11:5

ReplyDeleteJennie's height is 4ft,7in=55in
ReplyDeleteJennie's little sisters height is 25in
The ratio is then 55:25
Then I divided the ratio by 5
I got 11:5 for my answer
