The length of a rectangular field is 75 meters. Its width is 15 meters. Mr. Contreras ran around the track 3 times. How far did he run?

  1. 75+75+15+15=180 meters(once around the field) multiplied by 3=540 meters.

    15*2=30
    150+30=180
    180*3=540
    Mr.Contreras ran 540 meters.

  3. the perimeter of the field is 180 meters. 180 times the amount ran around(3) will show how far mr.c ran (540 meters)
